I made my first purse when I was eight with material I had woven on my own loom. Later in high school I constructed book bags from fabric remnants, ribbon and clothesline. My favorite clothes were the ones I made myself from Betsy Johnson’s Alley Cat collection.In college I majored in music, piano performance, and currently I’m the owner of a music studio where I teach fifty piano students a week, and sometimes daydream about handbag design and deconstructed clothing.
