I made my first purse when I was eight with material I had woven on my own loom. Later in high school I constructed book bags from fabric remnants, ribbon and clothesline. My favorite clothes were the ones I made myself from Betsy Johnson’s Alley Cat collection or those that I found in thrift shops over the years. My most memorable are my favorite denim jacket which I covered with embroidery and a faux fur silver mink jacket whch went with everything. My degree is in music (piano performance) and currently I’m the owner of a music studio where I teach almost fifty piano students a week.
