Di Wu :: Van Cliburn Competition 2009
I’ve been lazy about posting lately. I’ve been so caught up in the live-streaming of the Van Cliburn Piano Competition. This competition happens once every four years and thanks to some nifty technology we’re now able to follow it as we are there. Even the chamber music rehearsals are broadcast live. And if you miss any of the recitals they are archived on the site. My personal favorites this year are Chinese pianist, Di Wu… and Andrea Lam, the bubbly pianist from Austrialia (a Yale grad.) You can visit the main site for the competition here.
Update: Woo-hoo! Di Wu is onto the finals. Along with 5 other fantastic contestants. Performances continue until Sunday….

I’m absolutely amazed by the power of technology today. You can live stream almost anything. I played piano for over 10 years, so this is really great for me!
I had no idea about this, I am definitely going to check it out, thanks!
