Neringa Jociute, Designer
I have a special fondness for the street fashion site, Laimikis. Their name means “lucky catch” in Lithuanian, and their post about Lithuanian designer Neringa Jociute was a lucky catch for me. When I visited the designer’s website at Yotshiutee.com I was happy to hear my favorite piece from my favorite composer – Chopin’s Nocturne in D flat, Opus 27, No. 2. Jociutewrites
When you stop to hear music, long-ago centuries and their values return to us.
The music enhances the beautiful photographs, of not only fashion, but furniture, textiles and interior design.
Learn more about how Vinius is getting ready to be the European Capital of Culture for 2009. Hmmm, I wonder if there is a way for a fashion blogger/pianist to visit next year…

happy, you appreciated the works of Neringa, because we loved her recent collection a lot!
I had a concept on multicultural workshop for [street] fashion bloggers @ Vilnius. But financial resources is a big question here; at this moment they cut strictly the budget of events, connected with european capital of culture 2oo9 ;(
The workshop idea sounds great… As far as the finances go, “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” I’ll look into it from my end. I’d love to be there.
Hi from Paris
Happy new year to you and your visitors !
Keep on the good work in 2009

Happy New Year!
Our greetings & ingredients
for a Brand New Year
to you and your readers!
Ha ha! Let’s do a tour of Europe together, doing a mixed program of Goyescas and Tonadillas by Granados. I bet they’ll love us so much we can get an all-expense paid recital tour there!
Happy New Year, and a pleasure to read your blog!
Sounds like fun… I love Spanish music! So much fun to play!
Hi,
we had the great fortune of meeting Neringa during a trip to the far east. We noticed the 2 stylish women (Vida also) with Neringa wearing one of her own designs. The piece stood out as work of art that could be worn in a practical setting, expressing the creative spirit and sense of finesse that this designer posseses in abundance.
Her creations would do justice to any inclusion in Vogue or similar high end publications….with that little bit extra that characterises Neringa Jociute.
A pleasure to meet both Neinga & Vida and experience the creations of a very talented designer!
